These are Terry’s upcoming clinics:
“Advancing Your Riding” Intensive Study
February 26 – March 1, 2012, 6pm to 8pm
Tuition: 5-Day Intensive Study, $650 / Auditing $30 per day
This intensive study course is designed for serious students who have ridden their horse safely at a walk and trot. Terry will cover advanced Freestyle and Finesse riding skills and help prepare you for your auditions. Terry will help you through any riding issues you may be having with your horse and help you and your horse hone the necessary for riding confidently and with lightness.
Limited horse boarding and accommodations are available for out-of-town students.
Format: Up to 7 students. Ten hours of instruction. FREE use of NWNHC facilities for practice or pleasure riding when not in class.
Parelli Audition Prep
February 25, 2012, 9am to 1pm
Tuition: 4-Hour Workshop, $155 / Afternoon practice, FREE / Audition taping, FREE for current NWNHC students ($20 for others, includes DVD)
Lessons: $65 Semi-private / $75 Private (per hour)
This workshop is designed for those students who want to just “get ‘er done.” Terry will guide you through the process, help you perfect your compulsories, choose the best tasks for your audition and polish your routine for taping. The morning will focus on working through your known challenges. Afternoon is available for practicing your routine with other students and taping, if you feel you are ready. If you’d like some additional focused time with Terry, you can take a private or semi-private lesson.
Audition success is based on preparation and practice. Pre-work: Review and fell in your Self-Assessment Checklist (does not need to be complete or perfect) for the audition you are preparing.
Format: Up to 5 students. Four hours of workshop instruction. FREE use of NWNHC facilities for trail riding or playing on the playground in the afternoon.
Colt Start & Training
February 24 – March 4, 2012, by appointment
Terry is known throughout the US for his excellent skills with young and difficult horses. Terry studied under world-renowned horse trainer and Pat Parelli mentor, Ronnie Willis. Terry’s gentle, supportive style results in a calm, responsive horse. You can take advantage of a 6-day Quick Start or 10 days of training to get your horse ready for summertime riding.
Tuition: 6-day Quick Start, $450 (horse board $90 additional) / 10-day, $750 (horse boar $150 additional)

Have Terry help you with just the things you need to make a breakthrough or better understand Levels tasks or patterns.
Tuition: $65 per hour semi-private (you and a friend) / $75 per hour private

Get away to the Cascade Mountains with just you and your horse. Ride the trails overlooking the Teanaway Valley. Sleep in the cabins. Swim in the pool. It’s three days/three nights of intensive learning and fun for you and your horse. There are plenty of activities for family members too. Everything is included!
Each morning it’s up and at ‘em for a hearty breakfast in the farm house, lovingly prepared by Penny Blackburn. Then it’s off for instruction on the ranch, a leisurely lunch break and then up into the hills for more instruction and to put your skills to the test. Intermediate riders will enjoy a leisurely trail ride, while advanced riders will canter off for some more difficult riding in the backcountry. In the evenings its great conversation around a delicious home cooked dinner and then an evening of story sharing, backcountry knot tying or songs around the campfire.
Tuition: $625 Includes Everything (Meals, lodging, horse board, instruction, semi-private lesson, VIP)
$475 Budget Package (Cook your own meals in the cookhouse)
